Responsibilities

• Cost estimation, negotiation, and price settlement for proprietary, hydraulics, harnesses and rubber/plastic parts.
• Active sourcing to map completion and new trends for own commodity.
• Carrying out negotiations with suppliers for own commodity.
• Empaneling proprietary and spare parts planning vendors as per platform targets.
• Supporting Supplier Business Capability Building initiative for own commodity.
• Anticipate business risk associated with own commodities and relevant industries and propose mitigation plan.
• Collaborate with SSU Leadership, Accounts, Business Excellence, Plant Heads, Spares lead, Strategic Vendors, Government Agencies to resolve/anticipate issues and ensure smooth operations.
• Participate in SSU forums to project business indicators, concerns, highlights of performance and inputs to stakeholders/decision making.
• Coordinate with supplier quality team to ensure timely and flawless development.
