Volvo Group in Karnataka invites engineering graduates and diploma holders to join its National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) program. This 1-year on-the-job training offers hands-on learning and a pathway to industry-ready skills within a global transport leader.

You will support HR operations, recruitments, attendance, payroll input, and employee welfare activities while coordinating with stakeholders and ensuring policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Educational qualification: BBA or any relavent qualification.
• Preferred skills: MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI.

Responsabilités

• Manage plant absenteeism data and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure availability.
• Assist recruitment, onboarding and induction of fixed-term employees and trainees.
• Assist contract labour management, onboarding, attendance, and monthly reports; support statutory compliance and dashboards.
• Coordinate NTTF training for land contributor trainees.
• Assist in developing employee relations policies.
• Support salary and wage administration and payroll input.
• Assist employee welfare activities and events.
• Support industrial visits and internships.

About The NATS Program

This role is offered under the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS), a flagship initiative of the Government of India designed to equip Indian youth with practical, trade-specific skills. Administered under the provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961 (amended in 1973), this program at Volvo Group offers engineering graduates and diploma holders a structured, 1-year practical, hands-on On-the-Job Training (OJT) opportunity to build industry-ready capabilities.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Plant Absenteeism Management: Prepare and present day-to-day absenteeism and support to ensure 100% availability of people in coordination with all stake holders.
• Support Recruitment, onboarding & Induction of Fixed term employees, Graduate Apprentice trainees.
• Contract labour Management: Recruitment, Onboarding, Induction, Attendance Management. (Biometric and monthly reports), Statutory compliance, Dashboard preparations, Job rotation, Awareness activities.
• NTTF training coordination for Land contributor trainees.
• Support in developing Policy related to Employee Relations.
• Support in Salary & Wage administration (Support to prepare monthly Payroll input).
• Support employee initiatives & welfare activities such as Birthday celebrations, Transportation, family day celebration, sports day, Ayudha pooja, Karnataka Rajyotsava etc.
• Support Industrial Visits, Internship & project trainees.

Educational : BBA or any relavent qualification

Preferred skills : Microsoft office (Excel, Powerpoint) and Power BI
