Job summary

Volvo Group in Karnal is offering a one-year apprenticeship under the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme through Volvo Financial Services India. Fresh graduates will gain practical training across Financial Services functions with a structured program.

The role includes a fixed stipend of INR 16,500 per month, insurance coverage, travel reimbursement, and potential for future opportunities. The program emphasizes compliance, data integrity, and effective customer communications.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduate, preferably BCom or BBA.
• Proficient in MS Office tools usage.
• Fluent in English, Hindi & regional language of the state is must.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and follows up for collection on overdue accounts.
• Call and follow up with customers to negotiate collection of overdue amounts and maintain relationships.
• Communicate with customers and third parties (lawyers, agencies) as needed.
• Identify deployment of assets and monitor movement/utilization.
• Monitor repayment of accounts and analyze delinquency causes.

Job Description

Apprenticeship Description: National Apprenticeship Training Scheme, is a program where Volvo Financial Services India engages freshly graduated individuals for year-long apprenticeships, providing them with practical training and skills development opportunities within the company’s various functions under Financial Services. it's a way for Volvo Financial Services to train future workforce members through a structured apprenticeship program.

Key Responsibilities During The Apprenticeship Period

• Prepares and follows up for collection on overdue accounts allocated to him / her.
• Call and follow up all customers and negotiates for collection of overdue amounts, maintains relationships with them keep tab on market references for all his customers.
• Maintains effective communication with customers and third parties, e.g., lawyers, collection agencies and repossession agencies.
• Identifies deployment of the asset and keeps a tab on its movement/utilization.
• Regularly monitor repayment of accounts, analyse causes of delinquency, report concerns timely.
• Timely resolve customer disputes
• Implements repossession of the asset
• Is responsible for the integrity of collection data and customer logs, including visit reports, relating to allocated accounts in the collection.
• Maintains accuracy in uploading trails on all cases, within set timelines.
• Strictly adheres to compliance.
• Maintaining relationship with Collection Agencies and their executives, follow up and updates
• Update Payments in VFS System
• Role involves Collections follow up across all Buckets, Repossession

Education And Additional Knowledge

• Should be a fresh graduate, preferably BCom or BBA
• Should have knowledge on Microsoft Office tools usage

Competencies And Skills

• Strong willingness to learn and explore career opportunity in financial services industry.
• Strong communications skills.
• Knowledge of working in a process driven organisation.
• Should be able to converse fluently in English, Hindi & Regional Language of said state is must and additional languages will be added advantage.

Candidate should be willing to provide references, if necessary, and consent to a reference check with his / her existing College.

Note

• Apprenticeship is for a period of 1 year, post that certificate of completion will be provided and there is no guarantee of employment after completion of training as an apprentice.
• During the apprentice period fixed stipend of INR 16,500/- per month will be provided.
• Insurance on Group Personal Accident & Term Life as per company policy will be applicable
• Travel reimbursement as per company policy on actuals based on set limits
