Job summary

Zensar Technologies in India seeks a QA Tester with 2–6 years of experience in software testing, specifically within the payments domain. The role involves test execution, defect analysis, and production support, with exposure to SWIFT/SEPA processing. Strong SQL and familiarity with Quality Centre/JIRA are desirable.

The candidate will work with cross-functional teams to validate end-to-end payment flows and ensure high-quality releases in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of testing processes and tools (Quality Centre/JIRA).
• Strong understanding of payments domain, SWIFT and SEPA.
• Ability to triage defects and perform end-to-end payment testing.

• Simulation & Triage of issues raised by customers


• Address functional queries from various stakeholders


• Follow testing plan/schedule & adhere to quality processes


• Should be able to provide production support whenever needed.

• Experience in testing of software applications/packages in payment domain. GPP testing experience is a plus.


• Good SQL knowledge. Worked on automation tools


• Knowledge of testing processes & activities. Knowledge of Quality Centre/JIRA


• Strong knowledge of payments domain and SWIFT and SEPA Payment processing.


• Validate End-to-end Payment Processing For


• SEPA Credit Transfer (SCT)


• SEPA Direct Debit (SDD)


• Payment Returns, Rejects, Recalls.


• Exposure to client support.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Ability to do triage & deep analysis of defects


• Good team and interpersonal skills.


• Experience working with cross-functional teams including Development, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Operations.


• Good communication skills – verbal & written.


• Should Perform Review of test cases – peer review.


• Able to provide Pre L0, L0 and L1 efforts.


• Able to Review test cases – peer review.
