Job summary

Zensar Technologies is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP BTP Developer to design, develop, enhance, and support SAP applications across S/4HANA, BTP, and extension frameworks.

The role covers ABAP development, CDS/AMDPs, OData, Fiori/UI5, and cloud-native extensions, with emphasis on integration, APIs, and modern SAP architectures. You will collaborate with stakeholders, participate in design reviews, and drive SAP modernization efforts.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of overall SAP development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Experience working with SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Experience developing applications and extensions on SAP BTP.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Experience in SAP integrations, API development, cloud migration, and production support is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy SAP ABAP solutions for SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC environments.
• Build and maintain CDS Views, AMDPs, OData Services, Enhancements, BAdIs, User Exits, Reports, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, Interfaces, and Workflow solutions.
• Develop side-by-side extensions and cloud-native applications on SAP BTP.
• Design and implement APIs, integrations, and reusable services using SAP Integration Suite.
• Develop and support SAP Fiori/UI5 applications and enhance user experience across SAP solutions.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to analyze requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Optimize application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and perform root cause analysis.
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to SAP modernization and digital transformation initiatives.
• Follow SAP development standards, security guidelines, and best practices.
• Support deployment, transport management, release activities, and post-production stabilization.
• Prepare technical specifications, design documents, and knowledge-transfer materials.
• Mentor junior team members and participate in code reviews and technical governance activities.

SAP ABAP BTP Developer responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting SAP applications across SAP S/4HANA, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), and SAP extension frameworks.

Work across the SAP technology stack, including ABAP development, BTP services, integrations, APIs, Fiori applications, and cloud-native extensions.

Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, architects, integration teams, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable SAP solutions.

Participate in technical design, development, code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support activities.

Drive SAP modernization initiatives by developing cloud-based extensions and leveraging SAP BTP services to extend core business processes.
