Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a hands-on cloud engineer to design, deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters on Google Cloud Platform. You will build robust CI/CD pipelines for containerized apps, optimize Docker images, and implement IaC with Terraform and Helm.

You'll monitor systems with Prometheus/Grafana, ensure security best practices, and collaborate with developers to enable microservices and cloud-native architectures using Istio and API gateways.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and GKE on cloud platforms.
• Strong understanding of containerization and Docker.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines.
• Knowledge of Terraform, Helm and IaC concepts.
• Experience with monitoring/logging using Prometheus and Grafana.

Role & responsibilities

• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and GKE.
• Proficiency in Docker and containerization concepts.
• Solid understanding of Google Cloud Platform services (Compute, Networking, IAM, etc.).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Harness, Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD).
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Helm).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana) and logging solutions.
• Good understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture principles.
• Experience with service mesh (Istio) and API gateways.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices.
