Job summary

Virtusa in Chennai seeks a senior GoldenSource specialist with 8–10 years hands-on experience, particularly v8.x, to manage workflows, connectors, and business rules within complex capital markets reference data environments.

You'll work with Oracle databases (11g/12c), scripting in Shell, Perl or Python, and REST APIs, contributing to SDLC practices and agile teams. Strong communication with external stakeholders and a track record of delivering reliable data services will be essential.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of hands-on experience with GoldenSource, preferably version 8.x.
• Strong expertise in GoldenSource components including Workflows, Connectors, Business Rules, and GSOs.
• Solid understanding of GoldenSource data model.
• Experience with Build and Packaging using Installation Center.
• Oracle 11g/12c proficiency.
• Shell, Perl or Python scripting.
• Java 1.7/1.8 knowledge; SDLC understanding.
• Experience with REST API.
• Proficient with SVN/Git.

Job description

8 to 10 years of hands‑on experience with GoldenSource, preferably version 8.x. Strong expertise in GoldenSourcecomponents including Workflows, Connectors, Business Rules, and GSOs.

Solid understanding of the GoldenSource data model. Experience with Build and Packaging using Installation Center.

Proficient in Oracle 11g/12c databases. Skilled in Shell, Perl, or Python scripting.

Familiarity with Java 1.7/1.8 ,Rest API Clear understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Experience working in Agile methodology is a plus.

Proficient in code management tools such as SVN/Git.

Domain Expertise

Strong knowledge of the Capital Markets domain. Good understanding of Reference Data.

Soft Skills

Strong communication skills, especially in dealing with external stakeholders.
