Qualifications

• 3–8 years of software engineering experience with strong GoLang development.
• Strong knowledge of Go Modules, Semantic Versioning and Dependency Management.
• Hands-on experience with Go Build, Go Test and Bazel.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with API refactoring and dependency upgrades.
• Good knowledge of Git, Linux and Shell Scripting.
• Experience working with large codebases or monorepo environments.
• Understanding of CI/CD and build/presubmit pipelines.
• Good communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Upgrade Go modules and third-party open-source package versions.

• Resolve breaking API changes and update affected downstream applications.
• Troubleshoot Go build, Go test, Bazel, CI/CD and presubmit failures.
• Manage dependency upgrades, local patches, and patch lifecycle.
• Work with Git for code changes, reviews, merge conflicts, and change management.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Copybara configurations and source synchronization.
• Develop scripts and automation to support dependency analysis and upgrade activities.
• Prepare technical documentation, migration reports, and validation evidence.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, reviewers, and technical SMEs to resolve issues.
