People Prime Worldwide is seeking a hands-on Go engineer in Hyderabad with 3–8 years of software development experience. You will work on modern Go codebases, manage dependencies, and contribute to large-scale builds using Bazel, CI pipelines, and Linux scripting.

Role & responsibilities

• 3-8 years of software engineering experience, including substantial hands‑on development and debugging in Go.
• Strong command of Go modules, semantic versioning, transitive dependency resolution, package compatibility, and idiomatic API refactoring.
• Practical experience with Bazel, go build, go test, CI/presubmit pipelines, and troubleshooting large or monorepo‑based build environments.
• Demonstrated ability to isolate compiler, linker, build, test, and runtime failures introduced by dependency upgrades.
• Proficiency with Git‑based change management, code review, merge‑conflict resolution, and local patch lifecycle management.
• Strong Linux and scripting skills for investigation, repeatable validation, and engineering automation.
• Clear written and verbal communication, disciplined documentation, and effective collaboration with reviewers and language SMEs.

Preferred experience

• Copybara or comparable source‑synchronization tooling.
• Large‑scale OSS dependency upgrade, vulnerability‑remediation, or package‑maintenance programs.
• Complex dependency graphs, generated code, multi‑target changes, and high‑impact API migrations.
• Building reusable upgrade playbooks or automation within controlled enterprise environments.

Expected outcomes

• Accepted package upgrade: package builds pass, existing tests pass, applicable presubmits pass, and the change list is submitted.
• Migration report: package/version details, code and dependency remediation, validation evidence, patch disposition, and documented exceptions.
• Predictable delivery: early blocker escalation, clean handoffs, reusable learnings, and reliable progress against assigned priorities.
