Tareo in Gurugram, India is seeking a hands-on Go backend engineer to architect, develop, and sustain scalable backend systems. You will build microservices, design REST APIs, and integrate with PostgreSQL/MySQL and external services.

Collaborate with frontend, infra, QA, and product teams; participate in code reviews and architectural discussions; prioritize maintainability, testability, and performance.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• Hands-on Go experience.
• REST API design knowledge.
• SQL databases expertise (PostgreSQL/MySQL).

About the role:

• Architect, develop, and sustain backend systems written in Go
• Create and maintain scalable REST APIs serving frontend and external partners
• Integrate with relational databases and third-party services
• Build microservice-based architectures and systems that span multiple nodes
• Produce code that prioritizes clarity, testability, and long-term maintainability
• Identify bottlenecks and enhance system performance through profiling and optimization
• Work alongside frontend engineers, infrastructure teams, QA specialists, and product managers
• Engage in peer code reviews and architectural discussions with colleagues

What you'll bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline
• Solid practical experience with Golang and its ecosystem
• Hands-on knowledge of REST API design principles and backend system patterns
• Proficiency with SQL databases, particularly PostgreSQL and MySQL
• Familiarity with microservice patterns and challenges in distributed computing
• Competence with Git version control and continuous integration/deployment pipelines
• Experience with Docker containerization and cloud-based infrastructure (a plus)
• Knowledge of concurrency models, goroutines, and Go's concurrency primitives (preferred)
