Job summary

Hitachi Energy Technology Services Private Limited in India is seeking a skilled mechanical design engineer to join the global power transformer team. You will optimize designs, support R&D, and review complex cases with Creo Parametric and simulations.

You will collaborate across factories, apply standards, and contribute to tender and frame agreement designs, ensuring efficient tank layouts and robust documentation for projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent required.
• Minimum five years of power transformer mechanical design experience.
• Solid understanding of electrical clearances in air and insulating oil.
• Proficient with 3D modeling tools, especially Creo Parametric.
• Experience with mechanical simulations using Ansys or similar.
• Strong time management, documentation, and cross-cultural collaboration.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

• You understand mechanical simulation, materials, and heavy manufacturing processes.
• You plan, prioritize, manage time, and document work effectively.
• You communicate inclusively and work effectively across different cultures.
• You communicate fluently in written and spoken English.
