CMA Ships, a CMA CGM Group subsidiary, is seeking a Global Procurement Generalist Professional in Mumbai. You will manage the end-to-end procurement process for vessels, ensuring timely requisitions, evaluating supplier offers, and coordinating shipments from supplier to vessel.

Strong English, analytical, and communication skills are essential. Responsibilities include enforcing compliance with IMS, handling purchase approvals, and achieving optimal 3-way matching of PO, invoices, and goods

Competenze

  • License degree in supply chain.
  • 2+ years supply chain experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of MS Office applications is advantageous.

Mansioni

  • Comply with IMS and international rules and regulations.
  • Manage vessels' goods & services requisitions and supplier panel.
  • Prepare and issue enquiries; evaluate supplier offers per policy.
  • Ensure timely order placement and on-time delivery through logistics chain.
  • Coordinate shipments from supplier to warehouse, shipyard or vessel.
  • Monitor and resolve PI (invoices) for accurate PO-GL matching.

Global Procurement Generalist Professional

Job responsibilities
  • Comply with IMS and all relevant international rules and regulations;
  • Ensure all your duties in accordance with quality, health, safety, environmental and ethics policies;
  • Manage the need for assigned vessels for assigned goods & services portfolio;
  • Ensure the timely ordering of the day-to-day requisitions;
  • Process approval for quotation and offers received to place order;
  • Ensure delivery on time on board through logistic chain from the supplier to the vessel;
  • Apply the best practice defined by the group procurement; Prepare and send enquiries to the relevant (registered and part of the panel) suppliers;
  • Analyze the suppliers offers and choose the best one according to procurement policy;
  • Follow availability of the orders at supplier’s premises;
  • Ensure and follow shipments of orders through logistic chain from supplier to in-house warehouse, and to shipyard and/or vessel; Arrange the backorders if necessary;
  • Follow the PI (problematic invoice) for a better 3-way match between PO/ Invoice/ good receipt.
Minimum qualifications
  • License degree in supply chain
Experience
  • 2+ years supply chain experience

Knowledge in technical shipping management is a plus MS Office
