Job summary

Hitachi Energy in Bengaluru invites a proactive Business Analyst to join the Global Capability Owner (GCO) for Function Legal Entity Controlling. You will drive financial analysis, develop dashboards, and lead automation initiatives to enhance planning, reporting, and month-end close across regions.

You will partner with global finance leaders, translate business requirements into scalable digital solutions, and contribute to process standardization and continuous improvement in finance

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in Finance, Controlling, FPA, Accounting, Business Analytics, or Finance Transformation roles.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, month-end close, and controlling processes.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, SAP, Power Automate, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365 apps.
• Proven experience in process improvement, standardization, automation, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to convert data into meaningful business insights.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in global/matrix organizations.
• Self-motivated, customer-focused, and continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted business partner to global and regional finance stakeholders, supporting strategic decision-making through financial and operational analysis.
• Analyze business performance, identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations to leadership teams.
• Develop and maintain management dashboards, analytics solutions, and reporting tools to improve visibility and transparency of key business metrics.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, financial reviews, and month-end closing activities across the Function Legal Entity Controlling organization.
• Drive automation and digitalization initiatives using technologies such as Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint, SAP, and Microsoft 365.
• Facilitate workshops and gather business requirements, translating them into scalable digital and process improvement solutions.
• Contribute to global process harmonization, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives within finance operations.
• Support governance, compliance, and internal control requirements while ensuring high-quality data and reporting standards.
• Prepare executive-level presentations, leadership communications, and decision-support materials for senior stakeholders.
• Maintain and continuously improve the FLE service catalogue to enhance transparency, consistency, and service delivery excellence.
