Job summary

Cloudxtreme is seeking a professional with strong writing, editing and communication skills, who can clearly convey complex research ideas in a concise, readable form. The candidate should be able to storyboard content and tailor writing for an executive audience, with solid familiarity with PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Access.

Ideal applicants hold a Master's or Doctoral degree in English-related fields and have 1-2 years of experience in business editorial roles.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in English Language, Linguistics, English Literature, journalism or mass communication.
• 1-2 years work experience in business editor, business research writer, technical writer, or journalism.
• Marketing, PR and communications experience is a plus.

Role & responsibilities

Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills; impeccable command of the English language, both written and spoken

• The ability to convey complex research ideas in a succinct, compelling, and readable way
• Strong storyboarding skills are preferred. Ability to write succinctly for executive audience
• Familiarity with Internet-based software and Microsoft Office products is essential, particularly PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Access
• Ability to think clearly and logically

Preferred candidate profile

Master's or Doctoral degree in English Language, Linguistics studies, English Literature, journalism and/or mass communication

• Work experience of 1-2 years, preferably in roles such as business editor, business research writer, technical writer, journalist in recognized finance/business/economics magazines, newspapers or publishing houses.
• Marketing, public relations and communications experience will be an advantage.
