Job summary

Gill India Concepts is seeking an editorial professional to create engaging, accurate articles for its magazine and website. You will proofread, edit, and refine content to meet editorial standards and client guidelines while maintaining readability and tone.

You will interact with clients to understand requirements, coordinate with writers and designers, manage multiple projects, and contribute to headlines, introductions, and captions as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Masters degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, Media Studies or a related field.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading abilities.
• Sound understanding of grammar, sentence structure and editorial style.
• Good communication and client-handling skills.
• Ability to research diverse subjects and convert information into engaging content.
• Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work within tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with digital publishing, content management systems and SEO principles will be an advantage.
• Previous experience in publishing, magazines, digital media, travel, hospitality or lifestyle content will be preferred.

• Manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines without compromising editorial quality.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
