Job summary

Egis Group in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Accounting Compliance professional to implement and oversee Group accounting policies during ERP transformation. You will interface with auditors, operations, and external partners to ensure robust controls and compliant reporting.

The role requires IFRS knowledge, consolidation expertise, and Oracle ERP exposure, with strong English communication and cross-functional collaboration across international teams.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in an audit firm and/or in a similar role within an international company.
  • Higher education in accounting/finance (CA/CPA).
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS standards and consolidation standards.
  • Previous experience in ERP projects (ideally Oracle).
  • Experience with revenue recognition issues, long-term contracts is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of Oracle, Tagetik, or LucaNet is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the application of the Group's accounting policies, consistent with consolidation rules.
  • Actively assist in monthly and annual closing processes.
  • Support the ERP transformation (Oracle), particularly on accounting structure, internal control, and flows.
  • Implement robust accounting processes and controls.
  • Draft technical accounting policies and normative documents.
  • Provide technical accounting support for post-acquisition integration projects (M&A).
  • Work with FP&A teams to integrate accounting standards into forecasts and budgets.
  • Prepare or review deliverables for auditors (balance sheet review, checklists, etc.).
  • Participate in improving intercompany reconciliation processes and standardization of practices.
  • Draft regulatory reports and coordinate audits and statutory closings.

About the Role

Under the supervision of the Accounting Compliance Director, you play a key role in implementing, controlling, and supporting the Group's accounting policies in a transforming environment (ERP, centralized organization, M&A, IFRS standards). You are the reference point for technical accounting matters, audits, and the interface between operational teams, auditors, and external partners.


Key responsibilities will include:



  • Ensure the application of the Group's accounting policies, consistent with consolidation rules.

  • Actively assist in monthly and annual closing processes

  • Support the ERP transformation (Oracle), particularly on accounting structure, internal control, and flows.

  • Implement robust accounting processes and controls

  • Play a key role in drafting technical accounting policies and normative documents

  • Provide technical accounting support for post-acquisition integration projects (M&A), especially in the analysis of opening balances.

  • Work with FP&A teams to properly integrate accounting standards into forecasts and budgets

  • Prepare or review deliverables for auditors (balance sheet review, checklists, etc.).

  • Participate in the continuous improvement of intercompany reconciliation processes and standardization of practices.

  • Participate in drafting regulatory reports.

  • Be comfortable with financial systems (ERP, consolidation, and reporting tools).

  • Monitor regulatory developments and support the application of new IFRS standards (IFRS 15, 16, 18...).

  • Participate in the coordination and proper execution of internal and external audits and statutory closings.

  • Contribute to the development of the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing binder.

  • Working with Finance Shared Service team for the implementation of accounting policies and controls



What do we need from you

Essential:



  • Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in an audit firm and/or in a similar role within an international company. (GCC /Shared Service Experience is preferred)

  • Higher education in accounting/finance (CA/CPA)

  • Strong knowledge of IFRS standards and consolidation standards.

  • Previous experience in ERP projects (ideally Oracle).

  • Experience with revenue recognition issues, particularly long-term contracts, is a plus.

  • High level of rigor, autonomy, and attention to detail.

  • Strong technical analytical skills and ability to draft accounting memoranda.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary and international teams.

  • Fluent written and spoken communication in English.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a transforming / changing environment.

  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of Oracle, Tagetik, or LucaNet is a plus.
