Job summary

Flix is seeking a Global Accounting Process Owner – Finance Operations to shape and govern end-to-end accounting processes. You will harmonize procedures across regions, lead automation initiatives, and ensure strong controls while partnering with SSC, IT, and regional teams.

The role requires Big 4 background, senior leadership experience, and a track record of multi-country transformations. Hybrid work model and career growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Admin, Accounting, Finance, CS, or related field.
• Advanced degree or certifications such as ACCA/CFA/CPA are a plus.
• Big 4 experience; Senior Manager level or above preferred.
• Experience delivering multi-country projects or transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Own and govern the global end-to-end accounting process, including standards, policies, procedures, and controls
• Drive global process harmonization and standardization across regions, business units, and SSCs
• Lead process optimization initiatives, including native, robotic and agentive process automation
• Maintain the global process optimization roadmap and manage implementation
• Define and monitor process KPIs, service levels, and performance targets
• Ensure compliance with policies, internal controls, audit requirements, and regulatory standards
• Partner with SSC, IT, country/regional teams, Product Owners, and external providers
• Leverage process mining, analytics, and benchmarking to identify inefficiencies and best practices
• Lead change management activities including communication, training, and adoption

We are looking for a motivated and driven Global Accounting Process Owner – Finance Operations (m/f/d) to join our Global Accounting, Process Excellence Team. In this role, you'll help shape our team, drive the company to the next level, and have direct influence on our success.

About The Role

• Own and govern the global end-to-end accounting process, including standards, policies, procedures, and controls
• Drive global process harmonization and standardization across regions, business units, and shared service centres
• Lead process optimization initiatives, including native, robotic and agentive process automation, workflow optimization, and ERP enhancements
• Maintain the global process optimization roadmap, prioritize improvement opportunities, and manage implementation of approved initiatives
• Define and monitor process KPIs, service levels, and performance targets to ensure continuous improvement and value realization
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, audit requirements, and regulatory standards
• Partner with key stakeholders — including SSC, IT, country and regional teams, Product Owners, and external providers — to optimize end-to-end process performance
• Leverage process mining, analytics, and benchmarking to identify inefficiencies, root causes, and best practices
• Lead change management activities, including communication, training, and adoption of new processes and technologies

About You

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field .Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., ACCA, CFA, CPA) are a plus.
• Big 4 experience; Senior Manager level or above is preferred
• Experience delivering multi-country projects or transformation initiatives -international assignment or secondment experience in Europe or North America preferred .
• Proven experience in leading Finance Transformation, Process Excellence, or Global Business Services (GBS) transformation programs
• Strong understanding of end-to-end accounting processes, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Experience working with ERP systems and finance technology tools; familiarity with process automation (RPA, APIs, workflow tools) is a plus
• Experience collaborating with product and engineering teams in an agile environment (e.g., sprint reviews, roadmap planning)
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills (Fluent in English (required), with the ability to operate effectively across global and local teams
