Job summary

Flowserve Corporation in India is seeking a motivated General Ledger & Payroll Accounting Professional who enjoys working with financial data and collaborating with global stakeholders to support financial operations.

You will transition payroll-related GL activities to the Payroll team, own month-end close, perform US GAAP accounting and reporting, prepare GL analyses, execute SOX controls, and assist audits while building robust documentation.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• 3-5 years relevant experience.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Solid understanding of General Ledger accounting and financial processes.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Basic knowledge of SAP and/or Oracle ERP systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support the transition of payroll-related General Ledger activities to the Payroll team, working closely with senior accountants.
• Take ownership of month-end closing activities and assigned accounting processes.
• Perform US GAAP accounting, reporting, financial analysis, and fulfill ad hoc information requests.

• Assist internal and external audit activities while building and maintaining robust process documentation.
