GIS Testing/Validation Lead

• Proficiency in GIS tools such as ArcGIS, QGIS, Smallworld or equivalent platforms
• Strong understanding of spatial data models, projections, coordinate systems, and geodatabases
• Experience with spatial analysis, geoprocessing, and map creation
• Knowledge of SQL and working with spatial databases (PostGIS, Oracle Spatial, SQL Server)
• Ability to work with multiple data formats (shapefiles, raster, CAD, GPS data, GeoJSON)
• Good to have skills: SQL, API Testing, Test Automation, CI/CD, Spatial Databases
• Develop, update and maintain accurate geospatial datasets and maps
• Perform spatial analysis to support business and project requirements
• Ensure data quality, consistency and compliance with defined GIS standards
• Collaborate with business, engineering and project teams to understand GIS needs
• Adhere to project timelines, SLAs and documentation standards
• Participate in reviews, audits and continuous improvement initiatives
