Job summary

Quest Global is seeking a GIS specialist with 8+ years of experience in cross-country pipelines GIS mapping. The role involves 2D/3D mapping, cartography, data conversion and validation using Esri ArcGIS, PODS and Pipeline Office Studio.

You will manage geodata, perform data entry, and deliver 3D maps via photogrammetry and mobile LiDAR. Ideal candidates have experience with Geonamics Pipeline Office Studio, data mining and satellite imagery, and will join a diverse team in a dynamic,

Qualifications

• Graduate with experience in 2D and 3D mapping, cartography and spatial data management.
• Experience in utility conversion, cadastral mapping and data validation.
• Proficient in data conversion, data cleaning and QC using GIS tools.
• Map creation and deliverables using Esri ArcGIS products.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver 3D maps using photogrammetry, mobile mapping and mobile LiDAR.
• Review historical repair information with PODS data for accuracy.
• Perform GIS data entry and document management tasks.
• Evaluate historical information against PODS data in Geonamics pipeline office studio.
• Address missing or inaccurate information in PODS and other databases.
• Integrate data sources using links for seamless access.

Key Responsibilities

Graduate with experience in 2D and 3D mapping, Cartography, Utility conversion, Cadastral mapping, Geodata management including Data Conversion, Data cleaning & validation, QC and Map creation using Esri ArcGIS products

• Perform the following drawings / studies / simulations / calculations
• Reviews histroical repair information with PODS data to ensure accuracy and content.
• Performs GIS data entry and document management
• Evaluates historical information against pods data in Geonamics pipeline office studio.
• Missing or inaccurate information will need to be remeided in both PODS and other databases.
• Data sources will then need to be integrated using links.
• Preparation and Delivery of 3D maps using Photogrammetry, mobile mapping and mobile LiDAR
