Job summary

GlobalLogic Bengaluru is seeking a Spatial Data Engineer to contribute to GIS data pipelines, validation techniques, QC routines, and ETL using tools like FME and QGIS/ArcGIS. You will optimize ingestion and ensure data quality across geospatial datasets.

You will work with SQL and PostGIS, handle data validation and QC, and bring a curious mindset with some scripting and Python skills to enhance geospatial workflows.

Qualifications

• Spatial Data Engrg and data validation techniques for GIS datasets.
• Experience with QC routines and RCA in data pipelines.
• ETL with FME and GIS tools (QGIS/ArcGIS) and SQL-based validation.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL/PostGIS and scripting basics (nice to have).
• Curious mindset and willingness to learn new tools and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Strong knowledge of Spatial Data / GIS concepts.
• Experience with ETL processes and data ingestion.
• Hands-on with FME, QGIS or ArcGIS for geospatial data workflows.
