Job summary

Geoconsultants India Services in Maharashtra is seeking a GIS specialist to develop and maintain GIS databases for utility assets, integrating data from field surveys, satellite imagery, CAD drawings and other sources.

You will perform GIS analyses, create maps and deliver outputs, support field teams with GPS surveys, and coordinate with managers, engineers and clients to ensure data quality, standards, and timely deliverables.

Qualifications

• Utility networks experience with data models (Water, Gas, Electric, or Telecom).
• Proficiency in ArcGIS Desktop/Pro and QGIS is mandatory.
• Strong experience integrating AutoCAD drawings into GIS formats.
• Bachelor's/Master's in GIS, Geoinformatics, Geomatics, Geography, Civil Engineering, Surveying, Remote Sensing, or related field.

• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and adherence to project standards.

Required Qualifications :

• Utility Networks: Prior experience working with utility data models (Water, Gas, Electric, or Telecom) is highly preferred.
• GIS Software: Proficiency in ArcGIS Desktop / ArcGIS Pro and QGIS is mandatory.
• CAD Integration: Strong experience in integrating AutoCAD drawings into GIS formats.

Bachelors / Masters degree in GIS, Geoinformatics, Geomatics, Geography, Civil Engineering, Surveying, Remote Sensing, or related field.
