Vmapstech in Bengaluru seeks a GIS professional to analyze satellite imagery and geospatial data for environmental monitoring and infrastructure planning. You will work with cutting-edge remote sensing tools and large geospatial datasets to deliver insights that drive decision-making.

You will process multispectral imagery, perform land cover classification, create GIS maps, and support field validation using diverse data sources.

Formación

Bachelor's degree in GIS, Remote Sensing, Geography, or related field.
2-3 years of professional GIS and remote sensing experience.
Proficiency with ArcGIS, QGIS, or Esri tools.
Experience with satellite imagery interpretation.
Programming skills (Python, R) preferred.

Responsabilidades

Process and analyze satellite imagery and multispectral data.
Perform change detection and land cover classification.
Generate GIS maps and spatial analysis reports.
Integrate multiple data sources (SAR, optical, LiDAR).
Support field validation and ground-truthing activities.
