Job summary

The role focuses on finalizing component prices, stabilizing vendor quality, planning capacity, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely launches and supply readiness. 5–10 years of relevant experience is expected, with SAP and MS Excel/PowerPoint proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Identify and onboard new suppliers and develop components for mass production.
• Finalize prices for chassis components and ensure supplier quality stabilization.
• Plan and enhance vendor capacity to meet production demands.
• Manage vendor performance and drive quality and delivery improvements.
• Lead cost reduction initiatives and perform VAVE/price analyses.
• Oversee PO management and localization activities.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure flawless launches and supply readiness.
• Prepare reports on supplier issues, benchmarking, and price-reduction proposals.

Sourcing activities, New Supplier Identification & Part Development activities.

Price finalization of Chassis Components, Development of Chassis Components, Vendor process/quality stabilization & sign off the parts for mass production.

Planning & enhancing vendor capacity.

Vendor Management & Stabilization of vendor in terms of quality, delivery.

Yearly cost reduction activities.

Purchase order management, Localization activities.

Coordinate with cross functional team to ensure smooth flawless launch & meeting production requirements.

Prepare reports on purchases like supplier & developmental issues, bench marking, price analyses, price reduction proposals, VAVE.

Skills Required

Sourcing Experience, Costing Knowledge, Negotiation Skills, Communication Skills, Multi Tasking Skills, Analytical Proficiency, Ability to drive the results & process. Knowledge of SAP & MS Excel /PPt.
