Job summary

Motherson is seeking a Graduate Engineer Trainee in India to support wiring harness projects. You will study drawings, prepare BOMs, and issue engineering details for proto and manufacturing stages.

You’ll perform engineering calculations, participate in design reviews, and contribute to value engineering initiatives. You will assist in proto making, interact with customers for engineering discussions, and engage in project management with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of electrical systems/components.
• CAD tools knowledge is an added advantage.
• Proficient in MS Office and computer basics.

Responsibilities

• Product: Wiring Harness development exposure.
• Study of drawings and preparing bill of materials.
• Preparing and issuing engineering details used for prototype and manufacturing.
• Engineering calculations and design review tasks.
• Value engineering activities to optimize designs.
• Proto making and early prototyping work.
• Communicating with customers for engineering discussions.
• Participating in project management and cross-functional team discussions.
