Generative Design - EDD
To establish and transition HMCL Engine Design & Validation department from a reactive validation mindset to a proactive Generative Synthesis approach, using AI-driven algorithms to explore design iterations across Structural, CFD, Heat transfer and MBD domains simultaneously. By bridging existing high-fidelity verticals through Multidisciplinary Optimization (MDO), the vertical will eliminate manual design loops and \"evolve\" organic, bio mimetic engine architectures that push the absolute limits of physics. Ultimately, this requirement is the cornerstone of Department’s strategy to reduce physical prototyping by > 50%, while delivering world-class power density and fuel economy for the next generation of HEV platforms.
