Job summary

Birlasoft is seeking a Gen AI Sr Lead to drive development of GenAI applications across Noida and other major Indian tech hubs. You will lead cross-functional teams and deliver end-to-end AI solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include building GenAI apps, data pipelines, multimodal models, LLM fine-tuning, MLOps, and ensuring responsible AI practices while mentoring junior developers.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in GenAI or AI software development.
• Experience across full stack development and LLM integration.
• Ability to mentor junior developers and lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Build GenAI applications from scratch using modern frameworks.
• Develop high-quality, maintainable Python code for GenAI solutions.
• Design architectures for large-scale structured and unstructured data.
• Familiarity with multimodal models (text, vision, speech).
• Fine-tune LLMs for domain data and use cases.
• Implement front-end integrations with React/Streamlit/AG Grid.
• Develop data modernization and transformation pipelines.
• Create OCR/document intelligence solutions using cloud tools.
• Integrate APIs via REST/SOAP and other protocols.
• Leverage Azure, GCP, AWS for GenAI deployments.
• Apply PEFT/QLoRA/LoRA techniques to optimize models.
• Set up LLMOps pipelines for CI/CD and monitoring.
• Embed Responsible AI practices in development.
• Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.
• Build tooling for automated data curation and preprocessing.
• Produce technical documentation for apps and processes.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product managers.
• Mentor junior developers to foster technical excellence.
