Job summary

Sri Sumeru Realty seeks a General Manager Project Management Consultancy (PMC) to lead end-to-end project management for construction initiatives. You will oversee planning, scheduling, budgeting, quality, safety, and client coordination to ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
• Master's in Construction/PM preferred.
• PMP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple construction projects from planning to handover.
• Develop execution strategies, schedules, and resource plans.
• Monitor progress, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with architects, structural and MEP consultants, contractors, and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with codes, permits, and safety regulations.
• Review drawings, BOQs, and contracts.
• Identify risks and implement mitigations.
• Conduct regular project reviews and provide reports to management.
• Ensure efficient use of manpower, machinery, and materials.
• Monitor contractor performance and certify completion.
• Manage costs, budgets, and value engineering.
• Resolve technical/operational issues affecting execution.
• Maintain QA/QC standards and drive timely completion.
• Mentor project managers, engineers, and site teams.

Job Summary

The General Manager (PMC) will lead and oversee end-to-end project management activities for construction projects, ensuring timely completion, adherence to quality standards, cost control, and compliance with safety and statutory requirements. The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and coordination with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple construction projects from planning to handover.
• Develop project execution strategies, schedules, and resource plans.
• Monitor project progress, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP consultants, contractors, and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with statutory approvals, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Review project drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contracts.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Conduct regular project review meetings and provide progress reports to management.
• Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials.
• Monitor contractor performance and certify work completion.
• Manage project costs, budgets, and value engineering initiatives.
• Resolve technical and operational issues affecting project execution.
• Maintain high standards of quality assurance and quality control.
• Drive timely completion of projects without compromising safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Mandatory)
• Master's Degree in Construction Management / Project Management (Preferred)
• PMP certification or equivalent certification is an added advantage.

Experience

• 10-20 years of experience in civil construction and project management.
• Minimum 810 years in a senior leadership role managing large-scale real estate, commercial, institutional, or infrastructure projects.
• Experience in Project Management Consultancy (PMC) is highly preferred.
