Job summary

Core Energy Systems is seeking a seasoned DGM/General Manager – E&I Design & Engineering to steer Electrical & Instrumentation engineering for large-scale EPC projects across Power, Nuclear, Thermal, Oil & Gas, Infrastructure, and Industrial sectors.

The role requires 18–25+ years of E&I/C&I design & engineering experience in EPC settings, with hands-on DCS/PLC/SCADA expertise and strong leadership to drive delivery and client coordination.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics & Instrumentation, or Instrumentation Engineering.
• 18–25+ years of experience in E&I/C&I Design & Engineering within EPC organizations.
• Hands-on experience in DCS, PLC, SCADA, Electrical Systems, Instrumentation, and multidisciplinary engineering coordination.
• Exposure to Thermal, Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Industrial EPC, Renewable Energy, Railway, or large MEP projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead E&I/C&I engineering from basic and detailed engineering through execution and commissioning.
• Review Electrical, Instrumentation, DCS, PLC, SCADA engineering deliverables.
• Prepare and review design basis, technical specifications, engineering calculations, and datasheets.
• Coordinate with Civil, Mechanical, Process, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning teams.
• Support tendering, BOQ preparation, RFQs, technical bid evaluations, and vendor approvals.
• Ensure compliance with project requirements, international standards, QA/QC, and HSE guidelines.
• Resolve technical issues, manage design changes, and drive value engineering initiatives.
• Lead and mentor engineering teams while managing project schedules and client coordination.
