Job summary

Simtrak Solutions seeks a senior finance leader to oversee the finance and accounts function for its real estate business. You will manage project finance, budgeting, cash-flow planning, and working capital across multiple real estate projects, ensuring robust controls and governance.

Qualifications

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the finance and accounts function for the real estate business, ensuring effective financial controls and governance.
• Manage project finance, budgeting, cash-flow planning, fund requirements, and working capital across real estate projects.
• Prepare and review MIS, financial statements, management reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis for senior management.
• Oversee banking relationships, project funding, lender coordination, treasury, and financing arrangements.
• Ensure timely and accurate accounting, taxation, statutory compliance, audits, and regulatory reporting.
• Monitor project-level financial performance, costs, profitability, collections, receivables, and payables.
• Provide strategic financial inputs to management on project feasibility, investments, funding, profitability, and business expansion.
• Develop and strengthen internal financial controls, processes, systems, and risk-management practices.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounts team.
• Partner with senior management and other departments to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.

Preferred candidate profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred.
• Candidates with CA/ICWA/CMA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent professional qualifications may also be considered based on relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting, financial management, taxation, audit, and corporate finance.
• Approximately 15 years of relevant professional experience, with 1015 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Strong experience in real estate finance, project finance, financial planning and analysis, accounting, treasury, and financial controls.
• Prior experience in a senior finance-management position with responsibility for leading teams and working directly with senior management.
• Experience in managing finance for multiple real estate projects or a real estate development business will be highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability and potential to progress into a CFO-level leadership role.
