Job summary

The Mission Hospital in India is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician responsible for AC repair and preventive maintenance of various HVAC units, electrical systems, and plumbing. You will ensure reliable facilities operation, address structural upkeep, and maintain compliance with safety protocols.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of experience in facility, hotel, hospital, or industrial maintenance, with an ITI or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or HVAC.

Qualifications

• ITI Trade Certificate or Diploma in a relevant field.
• 2–4 years of hands-on maintenance experience in facility/hotel/hospital/industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• AC repair and preventive maintenance of split and window units.
• Inspect and repair electrical components including lighting and emergency backups.
• Maintain plumbing fixtures, pipes and water systems.
• Address structural issues and perform routine parts renewal or repairs.
• Adhere to local safety standards, emergency protocols and OSHA guidelines.

Role & responsibilities

• AC Maintenance: Air Conditioning (AC) repair and maintenance. Conduct preventive maintenance, troubleshoot AC units (split, window), and monitor performance, gas levels, and thermostats.
• Electrical Systems: Inspect and repair electrical components, including lighting, power distributions, and emergency backups.
• Plumbing & Piping: Maintain and repair plumbing fixtures, pipes, and water systems to prevent disruptions.
• General Facility Upkeep: Address structural snags (doors, windows, drywall, painting) and perform routine parts renewal or repairs.
• Compliance & Safety: Strictly adhere to local safety standards, emergency protocols, and OSHA guidelines.
• Record Keeping: Maintain logs of inspections, repairs, and track spare parts inventory

Preferred candidate profile

• Education: ITI Trade Certificate (Electrical, Mechanical, or HVAC) or Diploma
• Experience: Minimum 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in facility, hotel, hospital or industrial maintenance specialty in Air Conditioning repair and maintenance
