Job summary

Urban Crowns Technical Services seeks a General Helper to maintain a clean production area in a Russia-based facility. You will perform cleaning, material handling, and support to machine operators in a tobacco manufacturing environment.

Requirements include basic English, schooling as listed above, and readiness for on-the-job training. Prior factory experience is beneficial but not mandatory; you will be trained on-site to support production operations.

Qualifications

• ITI/Polytechnic or Diploma preferred.
• High school education acceptable; basic literacy & numeracy required.
• Prior production/factory experience is an advantage, not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lift raw materials, finished goods, and packed items manually or using hoists.
• Operate machinery used in the production process or assist machine operators.
• Follow operator instructions when working on a machine.
• Observe equipment operations and report malfunctions to operators.
• Sweep, mop, and remove debris inside and outside factory premises.
• Place products in equipment or on work surface for processing, inspection or wrapping.
• Prepare raw materials for all types of processing and pack/store materials.
• Keep machine areas neat and cleaned, recalibrate machines at end of shift.

Job Role:

General Helper is responsible for keeping the production area clean and tidy. Perform various cleaning tasks, which include mopping, vacuuming, and sweeping floors, arranging the goods, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lift raw materials, finished goods, and packed items, manually or using hoists.
• Operate machinery used in the production process or assist machine operators.
• When working on a machine, strictly follow the operator's instructions.
• Observe equipment operations so that malfunctions can be detected and notify operators of any malfunctions.
• Sweep, mop, and remove debris both inside and outside factory premises.
• Place products in equipment or on work surface for further processing, inspection or wrapping.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the production in charge.
• Remove products, machine attachments or waste material from machines
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the production in charge.
• Keep machine and machine area neat & clean.
• Recalibrate machines at the end of each shift.
• Prepare raw materials for all types of processing.
• Pack and store materials.

Educational Requirements:

• ITI/ Polytechnic/ Any Diploma is preferred.
• Minimum high school education preferred; basic literacy and numeracy required
• Prior experience in a production/factory environment is an advantage, but not mandatory
• On-the-job training will be provided

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift and carry moderate to heavy loads
• Manual dexterity for handling tools, materials, and packaging
• Comfortable working in a factory/production environment (noise, temperature variations, etc.)
