Job summary

HighSpring India LLP in Hyderabad is seeking a Senior Analyst for Global Finance Operations to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. The role involves GL processes, data analysis, and close activities, with a 12-month contract and 5 days work-from-office from 2 PM to 11 PM.

You will work with global stakeholders to record accruals, amortization, consolidations, and prepare monthly close reports, balance sheet reconciliations, and audit deliverables.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in General Ledger accounting, CMA/MBA/M.Com or CA/CPA profiles.

Responsibilities

• Process accruals, amortization, allocation, and reclass for General Ledger.
• Prepare Balance Sheet reconciliations and resolve aged items.

• Process various business accruals (PO and Non-PO) for current liabilities/assets.
• Maintain reconciliation database and user access.
• Group reporting and consolidation and monthly variance analysis.
• Extract and analyze monthly reports and resolve queries.
• Support General Ledger audit deliverables and update SOPs.

Job Description: Analyst for Global Finance Operations

Location: 5 days WFO
Shift: 2 PM to 11 PM

Role Overview

The Senior Analyst for Global Finance Operations plays a crucial role in performing the work to maintain and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. This position includes performing operations, meeting SLA and targets, data analysis, report generation, and collaboration with various stakeholders to support the operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with the global stakeholders to process and ensure accurate recording (Accruals, Amortization, Allocation, Reclass, etc.), reporting, consolidation and analyzing reports pertaining to General Ledger accounting.
• Prepare Balance Sheet reconciliations covering General Ledger and related accounts. Closely monitor and resolve all aged open items and make sure balance is properly supported.
• Active participation in performing the monthly, quarterly and annual closing process related to General Ledger.
• Processing varied nature of business accruals (PO and Non PO) pertaining to other current liabilities and other current assets (like purchased services, supplies) during MEC based on computations arrived via Trend Analysis.
• Processing of Statistical entries.
• Accurate recording of amount spent on varied community benefits schemes.
• Managing admin tasks like reconciliation database maintenance and balance upload in Recons tool, arranging access to new joiners or additional requests, etc.
• Group reporting and consolidation.
• Preparing monthly close reports and variance analysis of various entities to ensure the numbers are materially accurate.
• Extract, modify and analyze monthly reports as required and resolve queries.
• Perform General Ledger-related audit deliverables during audit.
• Periodic updation of SOPs to make sure any process changes, exceptions and new learnings are updated timely.
