Job summary

Omnicom Global Solutions India is seeking a Lead with strong accounting and analytical skills to support finance teams delivering robust financial performance. You will work with Global Agency Finance teams and own R2R, month-end close, and revenue reporting.

The role requires 6-9 years in FP&A/R2R, US GAAP knowledge, and proficiency in Advanced Excel and ERP/BI tools. Location options include Hyderabad, Gurgaon, or Bangalore, with shifts aligned to local time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or PG degree in accounting or finance
• 6-9 years of FP&A / R2R experience mandatory
• Strong US GAAP knowledge
• Proficient in Advanced Excel and quick learner of ERP/BI tools
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate monthly financial statements and schedules to meet deadlines
• Record revenue and intercompany journal entries per GAAP
• Prepare management reports, reconciliations, and unit analyses
• Ensure timely close per SOX requirements
• Review p-card transactions per SOX policy and project allocations
• Assist revenue reporting to determine accruals/deferrals
• Assist forecasting by updating budget files and loading to OneStream/Cognos
• Perform monthly variance analysis
• Process and respond to client fee estimates
• Prepare audit documentation
• Prepare working capital analysis with AR/WIP
• Handle vendor/client onboarding requests (Credit Voyager)
• Manage multiple projects with changing priorities; support customer service
• Review monthly Sales & Use tax calculations and payments
• Backup for offshore AP during holidays

About the role

OGS India is seeking a Lead with strong accounting and analytical skills to help support the business finance teams that continues to deliver strong financial performance. This might be a great fit if you have a strong flair of analytical and accounting skills and would like to be part of a growing team. You will be closely working with our Global Agency Finance teams

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate monthly financial statements, reports and associated schedules in a timely manner to meet monthly accounting reporting deadlines
• Prepare and submit revenue and intercompany journal entries to ensure financial statements are maintained in compliance with GAAP
• Prepare and organize management reports, account reconciliations and analysis of various operating units, departments, and clients
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close processes in compliance with SOX reporting requirements
• Review and approve p-card transactions in the BOA portal in keeping with SOX policy by ensuring project allocations and receipts are identified.
• Assist with revenue reporting to determine monthly accruals and deferrals based on client contract agreements.
• Assist with forecasting by updating and actualizing monthly budget files and loading to OneStream and Cognos analytic tool for three business units.
• Monthly variance analysis.
• Process and provide client fee estimation requests.
• Prepare internal and external audit documentation.
• Prepare working capital analysis in collaboration with Billers (AR Collections & WIP).
• Manage Euler grade requests for new clients and vendors (Credit Voyager).
• Manage multiple projects and rapidly changing priorities in a collaborative team environment while prioritizing customer service.
• Review and approve monthly Sales & Use tax calculations and payments.
• Backup for offshore Accounts Payable team during local holiday time-off.

Qualifications

Must-Have Qualifications & Experience:

This may be the right role for you if you have:

• Bachelors or Post Graduate Degree in accounting or finance with 6-9 years of experience in business FP&A Operations (mandatory).
• Having prior experience into R2R processes is (Preferred)
• Proficient in Advanced Excel and ability to quickly learn any new ERP or BI Tools
• Having Good Knowledge of US GAAP.
• Flexibility to take up different assignments and not limit oneself to specific set of activities
• Ability to work both independently and in a team oriented, collaborative environment
• Flexible and Result Oriented with Strong Written & Oral Communication Skills
• Experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX, MediaOcean, and Hyperion Financial Management tool is a plus
