You will work in a cross‑functional, agile team spanning frontend and backend, integrating LLMs, designing scalable architectures, and writing maintainable code with CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field is required.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills, with frontend and backend exposure.
• Experience building and consuming APIs and third‑party services.
• Relational database experience, especially PostgreSQL.
• Proficient with Git, code reviews and CI/CD environments.

As a Fullstack Developer for Generative AI, you will join a collaborative team that brings Generative AI into corporate environments. You will help build BeMind, BearingPoints enterprise AI platform, and Generative AI solutions for our clients, with a focus on integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) into real products.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy Generative AI solutions end to end, from user interface through APIs and data to deployment.
• Translate Generative AI use cases into architectural and technical requirements.
• Integrate LLMs into real applications, such as chat experiences, knowledge retrieval and integrations with business systems.
• Write maintainable, tested code and take part in code reviews.
• Support junior colleagues in the technical implementation of use cases.
• Help develop BearingPoints Generative AI service portfolio further.
• Work in cross‑functional, agile teams with developers, product owners and stakeholders.

What we are looking for

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Around 5+ years of professional software development experience, covering both frontend and backend.
• Strong experience with a modern frontend framework. React / Next.js is ideal; Vue, Angular or Svelte are equally welcome.
• Strong JavaScript / TypeScript skills, or another typed language plus willingness to work mainly in TypeScript.
• Experience building and integrating APIs and third‑party services on any backend stack (Node.js, Python, .NET, Java, Go).
• Solid relational database skills: data modelling, SQL and optimisation. PostgreSQL is ideal; any major RDBMS counts.
• Practical experience with Git, code reviews and CI/CD pipelines in any tool.
• Experience in agile teams (Scrum / Kanban) and good English communication.

Nice to have

• First experience with LLMs or Generative AI, such as OpenAI / Azure OpenAI APIs, prompt design or retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG).
• NestJS, Supabase or GraphQL
• Docker and Docker Compose.
• GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
• Cloud basics on Azure, AWS or GCP: web app deployment, storage, identity, monitoring.
• Microservices or event‑driven systems.
