The Opportunity

The Microsoft Alliance is one of EY’s most strategic ecosystem relationships, focused on helping clients accelerate transformation through cloud, data, AI, automation and emerging technologies. The Frontier Innovation team plays a critical role in bringing together EY’s industry expertise and Microsoft’s technology capabilities to develop scalable, market-leading solutions.

We are looking for a highly motivated and collaborative Solution Manager to join the Microsoft Alliance Frontier Innovation team. In this role, you will help shape, develop and scale innovative solutions that address real business challenges for clients while creating new growth opportunities for EY and Microsoft. The role combines solution management, program execution, stakeholder engagement, portfolio governance and go-to-market activation.

You will work with a diverse group of stakeholders across EY Service Lines, Industries, Global Delivery Services, Alliance Leadership, Sales, Marketing and Microsoft teams to transform ideas into impactful solutions that can be adopted globally.

Your Key Responsibilities

Lead Solution Development and Portfolio Management

You will play a central role in managing solution roadmaps and supporting teams throughout the development and commercialization lifecycle, ensuring alignment with strategic alliance priorities and measurable business outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

• Manage solution roadmaps and ensure alignment with Microsoft Alliance strategic priorities.
• Support solution teams throughout the development, readiness and commercialization lifecycle.
• Drive governance processes that enable visibility, accountability, prioritization and decision‑making.
• Track portfolio performance, progress against milestones, risks, dependencies and business outcomes.
• Help identify opportunities for investment, prioritization, acceleration and solution expansion.
• Success in this area means translating promising ideas into scalable solutions that create measurable value for EY, Microsoft and clients.

Drive Cross‑Functional Collaboration

The Solution Manager acts as a connector across teams, helping align priorities, manage dependencies and maintain momentum across a complex global stakeholder network.

You will:

• Partner with Global Alliance leaders, Service Line leaders, Industry teams and Microsoft stakeholders.
• Facilitate alignment between business, technology, sales, delivery, alliance and marketing teams.
• Coordinate solution review sessions, governance forums, working groups and leadership updates.
• Proactively identify risks, dependencies and opportunities for collaboration.
• Build trusted relationships across a global, matrixed stakeholder environment.

Support Innovation and Frontier Innovation Programs

You will:

• Help facilitate ideation workshops, solution incubation activities and Frontier Innovation planning sessions.
• Support proof‑of‑concept initiatives, pilot programs and Client Zero engagements.
• Work with subject matter professionals to evaluate business cases, solution viability and market relevance.
• Help accelerate the transition from concept to market‑ready offering.
• Contribute to the continuous evolution of EY’s Frontier Innovation operating model.

This role provides exposure to emerging technologies, including AI, cloud platforms, automation and next‑generation business solutions.

Enable Go‑To‑Market Success

Developing strong solutions is only part of the journey; enabling market activation, adoption and measurable growth is equally important.

You will:

• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Alliance teams and Solution Owners on activation plans.
• Coordinate development of solution collateral, demos, case studies, enablement content and marketplace assets.
• Support readiness and enablement activities for client‑facing and business development teams.
• Track adoption, pipeline contribution, commercialization progress and related performance metrics.
• Contribute to co‑sell initiatives and strategic growth programs with Microsoft.

Deliver Insight Through Governance and Reporting

Responsibilities include:

• Prepare executive reporting, leadership updates and portfolio dashboards.
• Monitor key metrics related to solution maturity, activation, adoption, funding and business impact.
• Support business reviews, governance meetings and leadership decision forums.
• Maintain reporting accuracy, governance discipline and compliance with agreed operating standards.
• Provide insights and recommendations that support prioritisation, investment decisions and strategic growth.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• 15+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in program management, product management, solution management, consulting, technology transformation, innovation management or alliances.
• Proven experience working across complex, global and matrixed stakeholder environments.
• Strong communication, governance, project management and executive reporting capabilities.
• Experience coordinating cross‑functional initiatives with clear outcomes, measurable impact and disciplined follow‑through.
