Job summary

Aviato Consulting Pty Ltd is seeking a GCP Presales Architect to bridge business goals and cloud solutions for complex enterprise projects across Australia and New Zealand.

You will lead technical discovery, design robust GCP architectures, and craft proposals with PoCs and RFP responses, while collaborating with partner managers and delivery teams to ensure seamless post-sale execution.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a customer-facing presales, consulting, or technical account management role in a cloud environment.
• 4+ years hands-on experience designing and proposing solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Outstanding English presentation and communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect is required.
• Strong understanding of core GCP services, cloud networking, IAM, and enterprise data/AI ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions with enterprise stakeholders to understand challenges and objectives.
• Design robust, scalable Google Cloud architectures including hybrid, data, and AI ecosystems.
• Craft technical proposals, SOWs, and respond to RFPs with high-fidelity solutions.
• Deliver compelling technical presentations and PoCs to engineering and C-suite stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Google Cloud partner managers and internal delivery teams for seamless handoff.
• Incorporate Google's modern automation, IaC (Terraform), and security principles into designs.

Role Description

Technical Discovery & Strategy: Lead technical discovery sessions with enterprise stakeholders to deeply understand client challenges, business requirements, and strategic objectives.

Solution Architecture Design: Design robust, scalable, and secure Google Cloud architectures, specializing in complex hybrid, data, and AI ecosystems in line with GCP best practices.

Proposal & RFP Authoring: Craft comprehensive technical proposals, Statement of Work (SOW) documents, and respond to RFPs with high-fidelity technical solutions and estimations.

Executive Pitching & Demonstrations: Deliver compelling technical presentations and proof-of-concepts (PoCs) to both engineering teams and non-technical C-suite stakeholders.

Partner Collaboration: Work closely with Google Cloud partner managers and internal delivery teams to ensure a seamless handoff from the presales phase to post-sale execution.

Champion Modern Practices: Incorporate Google Cloud’s modern automation, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), and security principles into prospective solution designs.

What You'll Bring to the Table:

Presales Expertise: 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing presales, consulting, or technical account management role in a cloud environment.

GCP Competency: 4+ years of hands‑on experience designing and proposing solutions specifically on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Exceptional Communication: Outstanding English presentation and communication skills, with a proven ability to present deep technical concepts to diverse audiences.

GCP Certification: Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect is required.

Technical Breadth: Strong understanding of core GCP services, cloud networking, identity management (IAM), and enterprise data/AI ecosystems.

Bonus Points:

Additional Certifications: Google Cloud Professional Machine Learning Engineer or Professional Data Engineer credentials.

Modern Tech Familiarity: Understanding of containerization (GKE), infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), or Google’s Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform.

AI/ML Presales Experience: History of pitching advanced RAG pipelines, LLM-based solutions, and generative AI architectures to enterprise clients.
