Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking an experienced cloud migration professional to drive end-to-end Google Cloud Platform migrations and hybrid cloud initiatives.

The role focuses on compute, networking, and data migrations using tools like Terraform, DMS, and STS, with emphasis on secure cutovers and automation.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Expertise in Google Compute Engine, VPC Networking, VMware Migration, Hyper-V Migration, DMS, Terraform, STS, IAM, Linux Administration, Bash/Shell Scripting, Migration Planning & Execution.
• Experience designing and implementing hybrid cloud and cloud migration solutions.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts including routing, DNS, VPN, and firewalls.
• Knowledge of migration methodologies, risk assessment, and cutover planning.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead hybrid cloud and migration projects from planning to execution.
• Design and implement GCP-based migration architectures.
• Collaborate with network and security teams for secure cutovers.
• Develop IaC and automation scripts to streamline migrations.
• Assess risks and define migration runbooks.
