Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a DevOps engineer with 6–8 years of IT experience and strong Cloud and Terraform exposure based in India. The role focuses on designing, developing and deploying GCP resources as Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, and ensuring robust CI/CD practices.

You will work with Jenkins, GitHub and SonarQube, with additional emphasis on Terraform and Sentinel. Familiarity with Agile practices and container tech like Docker, Kubernetes will be beneficial, and Java

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of IT experience with exposure to DevOps in Cloud and Terraform.
• Experience in design, develop and deploy GCP resources as Infra-as-code in Google Cloud Platform; Terraform-based platforms.
• Strong knowledge in Automation frameworks, CI/CD processes and tools (Jenkins, GitHub, SonarQube).
• Strong knowledge in Terraform and Sentinel is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile Practices and Frameworks.
• Container technologies for building and deploying applications: Docker, Helm, Kubernetes.
• Agile development practices - TDD, BDD, automated builds, continuous integration, tooling to test code quality.
• Good to have: Java microservices with GCP exposure.

• Experience in design, develop and deploy GCP resources as Infra-as-code in Google Cloud Platform . Delivered platforms based on the principles of Infrastructure as Code: Terraform
• Strong Knowledge in Automation frameworks, CI/CD process and tools (Jenkins, GitHub, Sonar Cube etc.) is a must
• Strong Knowledge in Terraform and Sentinel is a plus
• Familiarity with Agile Practices and Frameworks
