Job summary

Intellics Global Services is seeking a GCP Data Engineer with 4 to 9 years of experience for Hyderabad location. The role requires strong SQL/PLSQL scripting, expertise in Python, and hands-on work with GCP components like BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Airflow, and Kafka.

Qualifications

• Experience with Google Cloud platform components and services.
• Strong SQL/PLSQL scripting and ETL tooling knowledge.
• Proficiency in Python for data processing and Cloud data workflows.
• Experience with GCP BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub and Airflow.
• Familiarity with Hadoop ecosystem and Kafka/NiFi is a plus.
• Certification in GCP Data Engineer is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data pipelines on GCP using BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub and Airflow.
• Collaborate in Agile life cycle to manage incidents and problem resolutions.
• Design and implement ETL processes using Talend, Informatica, Data Fusion/Cloud versions.
• Ensure CI/CD pipelines for data solutions and proper data governance.
• Work with RDBMS and cloud storage (GCS, Cloud SQL).
• Mentor on best practices for data engineering workloads.

• Mandatory Google Cloud Big Query Scripting Skills or Snowflake AWS or Cloud SQL Knowledge
• Mandatory to have knowledge on any ETL Tool ONLY amongst Talend DataStage Informatica ISS Cloud Version Data Fusion Data Flow Data Proc
• Mandatory SQL PLSQL Scripting Experience
• Expert in Python Data Flow Pub Sub Big Query CICD
• Must have good Experience knowledge on GCP components like GCS Big Query Airflow SQL Pub Sub Kafka Dataflow and Google Cloud SDK
• Should have experience on any of the RDBMS
• GCP Data Engineer certifications are an added advantage
• Hadoop knowledge Nifi Kafka experience
• Strong Scheduler knowledge Preferable Control M or UC4 Atomic Airflow Composer or Control M
• Must be aware of Agile life cycle
• Changes in Incident and Problem Management responsibilities
