Job summary

Tech Mahindra seeks a seasoned GCP Data Modeler to design and model enterprise data structures for the data warehouse and analytics platforms. You will own data modelling architecture, ensure data quality and govern data standards, while delivering scalable data solutions to meet business needs.

The role requires 12+ years in data warehousing with 3+ years on GCP, along with strong SQL and Python skills and experience with Informatica PowerCenter/Cloud. Collaboration with BI teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in Data Warehousing with 3+ years in GCP.
• Proficiency with ETL tools like Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Cloud.
• Extensive knowledge in data modeling, cross-application data standards and tuning.
• Experience building conceptual, logical and physical data models.
• Ability to translate data access, transformation and movement into designs.
• Collaborates with business users to deliver enterprise-wide data solutions.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are looking For GCP Data Modeler with strong expertise in designing and Modeling.

• Responsible for the Data Modelling architecture and design of enterprise Data model
• Accountable for all aspects of the data warehouse processes including data modelling, ETL, data validation, data quality assurance, and implementation.
• Develops and implements programs in various languages like SQL stored procedures, Python etc.
• Evaluates data process optimization opportunities and develops recommendations and improvements.
• Translates data access, transformation, and movement requirements into functional requirements and mapping designs.
• Creates and enhances data solutions enabling seamless delivery of data and is responsible for collecting, parsing, managing and analyzing large sets of data.
• Collaborate with technical and business users to develop and maintain enterprise wide solutions and standards to provide data required for metrics and analysis
• Partners with members of the Business Intelligence team to provide required access/structure to data.
• Build relationships with business intelligence partners to understand data needs in order to execute with excellence on documented user requirements

Relevant Experience required

• 12 + Years experience in Data Warehousing and 3+ Years in GCP.
• Proficient understanding of distributed computing principles.
• Proficiency with ETL tools like Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica Cloud and Cloud Data Platforms like GCP.
• Must have extensive knowledge in the areas of data modeling cross application data standards data distribution standards and tuning strategies
• Should have worked in multiple projects through software development processes and built conceptual logical physical data models leveraging the tools
• Good understanding of key Data Management Tools
• Present multiple unique perspectives of the customer and view data differently according to business needs
