Job summary

Xander Talent is seeking an experienced GCP Data Architect to design, build, and optimize scalable data platforms on Google Cloud Platform. You will lead data architectures, data pipelines, and governance frameworks across cloud migrations and modernization efforts.

You will collaborate with data engineers, analytics teams, and stakeholders to ensure robust data solutions, cost efficiency, and strong security practices on GCP.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of experience in Data Engineering/Data Architecture.
• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Proficiency with BigQuery; Dataflow; Pub/Sub.
• Experience with IAM & GCP Security.
• Experience with ETL/ELT frameworks and large-scale data processing.
• Strong SQL and Python skills.
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and analytics platforms.
• Good understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices for cloud environments.

We are looking for an experienced GCP Data Architect to design, build, and optimize scalable cloud-based data platforms on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in data architecture, cloud migration, data engineering, and analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise-scale data architectures on GCP.
• Develop scalable data pipelines and data lake/data warehouse solutions.
• Architect and optimize solutions using BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, and Composer.
• Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
• Define data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analytics teams.
• Optimize performance, scalability, and cost of cloud data platforms.
• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance.
