Job summary

Tekskills is seeking a Senior Data Architect in India to lead cloud-native data platform design. You will architect data lake, data warehouse, and lakehouse solutions on GCP, leveraging BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, and Looker to deliver scalable data pipelines.

You should bring 10–15 years of experience in data architecture, with hands-on expertise across GCP and ideally AWS/Azure. The role focuses on modernization, migration from legacy systems, and building robust reference

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of experience in cloud data architecture.
• Experience designing data architectures on GCP with multiple data services.
• Proficiency in building data lake, data warehouse, and lakehouse solutions.
• Experience with BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer, and Looker.
• Ability to create logical and physical data models and reference architectures.

Responsibilities

• Architect cloud-native data platforms and end-to-end data pipelines.
• Lead modernization initiatives migrating legacy systems to GCP.
• Design scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Dataflow and Dataproc.
• Create data models, data flows, and integration patterns.

Role: Senior Data Architect

Total Year of experience: 10-15 years

Job Description:

• Experience architecting solutions in Cloud Data Engineering platform (eg: GCP, AWS, Azure)
• Design endtoend data architectures on GCP leveraging BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer, Cloud Storage, and Looker.
• Develop modern data lake, data warehouse, and lakehouse architectures using best practices and wellarchitected frameworks in GCP and prefer to have experience in AWS, Azure & Databricks
• Create logical and physical data models, data flow diagrams, integration patterns, and reference architectures.
• Architect scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Dataflow (Apache Beam), Dataproc (Spark), and/or Cloud Composer orchestrations.
• Lead cloud-native modernization initiatives: migration from legacy platforms to GCP
