Job summary

Ingram Micro, Inc. is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer in Delhi to deploy and manage Google Cloud Platform environments. The role focuses on GCP services, IaC with Terraform, and automation of deployment and operations while ensuring security and compliance.

You will collaborate with architects and project teams, implement monitoring and logging, and support post-deployment activities. The candidate should bring hands-on GCP experience and strong scripting skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of IT infrastructure, cloud, or systems engineering experience.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform and hands-on GCP services.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and manage cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.
• Support cloud migration and modernization projects from on-premises and other cloud environments.
• Implement compute, storage, networking, and security solutions on GCP.
• Ensure cloud environments are optimized for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Manage and support GCP services including Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, VPC, Load Balancers, IAM, Monitoring & Logging.
• Perform system administration, patching, and operational support activities.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and application-related issues.
• Develop and maintain IaC using Terraform.
• Automate deployment and operational processes.
• Support CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, or Cloud Build.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and backup strategies.
• Implement cloud security best practices and IAM controls.
• Prepare technical documentation, implementation guides, and runbooks.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Deployment & Implementation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• Google Associate Cloud Engineer Certification preferred.
• Google Professional Cloud Architect Certification is an added advantage.

Preferred Experience

• 4+ years of IT infrastructure, cloud, or systems engineering experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on GCP implementation and support experience.
• Experience in cloud migration, managed services, or cloud operations environments.
• Knowledge of AWS or Azure is a plus.
