Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC. seeks a GCP Cloud Engineer to architect and manage GCP infrastructure while leading an AWS-to-GCP migration workstream. This role blends cloud architecture, Kubernetes, CI/CD, automation, and migration ownership.

MUST HAVES include 4+ years in Cloud Engineering focused on GCP, strong GKE/Terraform expertise, Azure DevOps CI/CD experience, and direct AWS-to-GCP migration work. Remote work and local presence in India offered.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in Cloud Engineering, with a focus on GCP.
• Strong knowledge of GCP services (GKE, Compute Engine, IAM, VPC, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Cloud Load Balancing).
• Experience with GKE, Docker, GKE networking, and Helm.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline automation.
• Expertise in Terraform for provisioning cloud resources.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation.
• Knowledge of cloud security principles, IAM, and compliance standards.
• Demonstrated hands-on involvement in at least one real AWS-to-GCP migration with the ability to explain what was migrated and what broke.
• Comfortable delivering production-quality code with Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Codex, or comparable AI coding assistants

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and maintain GCP infrastructure using Terraform, including storage, databases, networking, IAM, security, load balancing, and landing-zone components.
• Deploy and optimize containerized and serverless workloads using GKE, Docker, Helm, Cloud Run, and Cloud Functions.
• Design and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure deployments, and integrate security and compliance checks into delivery workflows.
• Lead AWS-to-GCP migration activities, including workload assessment, target architecture, production cutover, rollback planning, and cross-cloud data migration.
• Support reliability, scalability, performance, monitoring, and cost optimization across GCP environments during and after migration.
• Automate migration and operational activities using Python, Bash, PowerShell, Go, or platform tooling.
• Use AI coding assistants in daily engineering work for migration analysis, implementation, troubleshooting, and documentation.

We are looking for a GCP Cloud Engineer to architect and manage GCP infrastructure while leading an AWS-to-GCP migration workstream. This role combines cloud architecture, Kubernetes, CI/CD, automation, and production migration ownership.

The mandatory requirements are 4+ years of Cloud Engineering experience focused on GCP, strong GKE and Terraform expertise, hands-on Azure DevOps CI/CD experience, and direct experience with a real AWS-to-GCP migration.
