Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a GCP Cloud Engineer to architect and manage GCP infrastructure and lead an AWS-to-GCP migration workstream. You will integrate Kubernetes, CI/CD, automation, and production migration ownership across multi-cloud environments.

The role requires 4+ years in Cloud Engineering with a strong GCP focus, GKE, Terraform, Azure DevOps, and実務経験 in an AWS-to-GCP migration. Remote-friendly with India presence and INR compensation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in Cloud Engineering with a focus on GCP.
• Strong knowledge of GCP services including GKE, Compute Engine, IAM, VPC, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Load Balancing.
• Hands-on experience with GKE, Docker, GKE networking, and Helm.
• Hands-on Azure DevOps CI/CD experience.
• Terraform expertise for provisioning cloud resources.
• Programming/scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation.
• Knowledge of cloud security, IAM, and compliance.
• Experience in at least one AWS-to-GCP migration with clear migration details.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and maintain GCP infrastructure using Terraform, including storage, databases, networking, IAM, security and landing-zone components.
• Deploy and optimize containerized and serverless workloads with GKE, Docker, Helm, Cloud Run, and Cloud Functions.
• Design and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and automate infrastructure deployments with security checks.
• Lead AWS-to-GCP migration activities, including workload assessment, target architecture, production cutover, rollback planning, and cross-cloud data migration.
• Support reliability, scalability, performance, monitoring, and cost optimization during and after migration.
• Automate migration and ops tasks with Python, Bash, PowerShell, Go, or platform tooling.
• Utilize AI coding assistants for migration analysis, implementation, troubleshooting, and documentation.

The mandatory requirements are 4+ years of Cloud Engineering experience focused on GCP, strong GKE and Terraform expertise, hands‑on Azure DevOps CI/CD experience, and direct experience with a real AWS‑to‑GCP migration.

MUST HAVES

• 4+ years in Cloud Engineering, with a focus on GCP.

• Comfortable delivering production‑quality code with Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Codex, or comparable AI coding assistants.
• Upper‑intermediate English level.

NICE TO HAVES

• Experience with GCP target data platforms such as Databricks or BigQuery.
• Experience migrating network and infrastructure components, not only application workloads.
• Strong Go and/or Python engineering depth.
• Experience leading large‑scale cloud migration programs.
• Experience with MCP, reusable AI Skills, or agentic AI workflows.
• Cross‑cloud cost and performance optimization experience.
