Persistent Systems is seeking a seasoned GCP Architect in Nagpur to lead enterprise-scale cloud, data, and AI initiatives on Google Cloud Platform. You will shape architecture, define standards, and guide cross-functional teams across data and AI solutions.

With 12–15 years in cloud and data engineering, you will design scalable, secure platforms and mentor engineers to deliver high-impact, compliant solutions in a fast-evolving environment.

About Position:

We are looking for an experienced GCP Architect with AI expertise to lead the design, architecture, and delivery of enterprise-scale cloud, data, and AI solutions on Google Cloud Platform. The ideal candidate will have 12 to 15 years of experience in cloud architecture, data engineering, artificial intelligence, and enterprise solution design, with a strong track record of building scalable, secure, and business-aligned technology platforms.

What You'll Do:

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise-scale cloud and AI solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
• Design scalable and secure data engineering platforms to support analytics, AI, and business intelligence initiatives.
• Translate business and technical requirements into robust architectural solutions and implementation roadmaps.
• Define cloud architecture standards, governance frameworks, and best practices across projects.
• Design modern data pipelines, data lakes, data warehouses, and AI-ready data platforms.
• Collaborate with product owners, engineering teams, security teams, and business stakeholders throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Architect AI and Machine Learning solutions that support business automation, predictive analytics, and intelligent decision-making.
• Ensure solutions meet enterprise requirements for scalability, reliability, security, and compliance.
• Review architecture designs and implementation approaches for alignment with enterprise standards.
• Support cloud migration, modernization, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Drive performance optimization, cost optimization, operational excellence, and cloud governance activities.
• Conduct architecture reviews, production readiness assessments, and risk evaluations.
• Mentor technical teams and provide architectural guidance across cloud, data engineering, and AI projects.
• Develop reusable architecture patterns, frameworks, standards, and best practices.
• Contribute to innovation initiatives and continuous improvement programs across the organization.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• 12 to 15 years of experience in enterprise architecture, cloud engineering, data engineering, and technology consulting.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Google Cloud Platform services and cloud-native architecture design.
• Extensive experience building enterprise-scale data engineering solutions and modern data platforms.
• Strong understanding of AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI, and advanced analytics solutions.
• Experience designing large-scale data lakes, data warehouses, and distributed data processing architectures.
• Expertise with GCP services such as BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Vertex AI, Cloud Run, and GKE.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security, IAM, governance, networking, and compliance frameworks.
• Experience defining cloud architecture standards, reference architectures, and implementation frameworks.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT frameworks, and data integration patterns.
• Experience implementing AI/ML platforms and deploying production-grade AI solutions.
• Knowledge of MLOps, DataOps, DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud automation practices.
• Experience working with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data at enterprise scale.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and architectural decision-making capabilities.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence technical strategy.
• Experience working in Agile and enterprise delivery environments.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, documentation, and presentation skills.
