Job summary

Tredence Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Architect in Bengaluru to design and govern enterprise data architectures on GCP.

You will lead data strategies, create scalable data lakes and lakehouse solutions, and drive migration from on-premises to cloud with a focus on performance and cost optimization. The role requires 9-13 years of IT experience, hands-on GCP skills (BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage), and strong data modeling and governance abilities.

Qualifications

• 9-13 years of IT experience with significant experience in Data Architecture.
• Hands-on expertise in BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer, Cloud Storage and related GCP services.
• Experience with data modeling, ETL/ELT, data warehousing, and lakehouse architectures.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python/Java/Scala.
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and cloud security frameworks.
• Preferred: GCP Professional Data Engineer certification.
• Experience with Spark, Kafka, Airflow, Terraform, and AI/ML data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise-grade data architectures on GCP.

• Ensure security, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
• Optimize platform performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Mentor teams and provide architectural guidance across projects.
• Conduct architecture reviews and recommend improvements.
