Job summary

UST is seeking a Senior Cloud & AI Platform Architect (GCP) to guide enterprise customers through early cloud and AI transformations, partnering with sales, consulting, hyperscalers, and delivery teams to unlock business value.

You bring deep GCP expertise, hands‑on AI/ML platform experience, and strong architecture leadership to design landing zones, migration approaches, and MLOps pipelines across complex environments.

Qualifications

• Strong GCP expertise including IAM, VPC, Compute, GKE, Cloud Run.
• Hands-on AI/ML platforms, MLOps, and Vertex AI.
• Presales experience preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers to understand business objectives and technology challenges.
• Conduct cloud assessments, application discovery, and workload analysis.
• Develop cloud adoption roadmaps and transformation strategies.
• Design enterprise‑grade GCP architectures including Landing Zones, IAM, Networking, Shared VPC, Security, Compute, Kubernetes, Serverless, Storage, Databases, HA/DR, Governance, and FinOps.
• Define migration and modernization strategies including Rehost, Replatform, Refactor, Containerization, Kubernetes adoption, and Database Modernization.
• Design AI platforms using Vertex AI, MLOps pipelines, Model Registry, Feature Stores, ML lifecycle, LLMOps, Responsible AI, and AI Governance.
• Provide architecture guidance for SRE, Observability, Reliability Engineering, Monitoring, Security, and Cloud Operations.
• Support customer workshops, RFP/RFI responses, solution documents, presentations, architecture reviews, and technical solutioning.

This role works with enterprise customers during the early stages of cloud and AI transformation, partnering with sales, consulting, hyperscalers, customers, and delivery teams to understand business challenges, define cloud strategies, architect modern platforms, design migration approaches, and shape winning technical solutions.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) (Azure and Aws good to have) along with hands‑on experience in AI/ML Platforms, MLOps, and Cloud‑Native architectures. Prior presales experience is preferred but not mandatory.
