Solar Turbines is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Hydro-Mechanical Accessory Systems Engineer to support the Package & Systems Development and New Product Introduction (NPI) India team. The engineer will lead the design, development, integration, and implementation of hydro-mechanical accessory systems for industrial gas turbine packages. The role works across electrical, controls, manufacturing, and project teams to deliver safe, reliable, serviceable, and cost-effective solutions that meet technical specifications, customer requirements, industry standards, and company procedures.
The successful candidate combines strong hydro‑mechanical design fundamentals with practical gas turbine package knowledge, disciplined engineering documentation, structured problem solving, and the ability to work effectively across global and cross‑functional teams. The role requires ownership from concept through validation and field support, with a consistent focus on safety, quality, reliability, serviceability, and customer value.
